One of our clients in the Electrical & Mechanical sector needed to increase their online presence across England to drive leads in line with their business goals.

After brainstorming with the team we put together a strategy that covered paid and organic strategies to maximize traffic and lead conversions.

THE CHALLENGE

Due to little SEO work being carried out on the website prior we were starting from scratch so we targeted the local markets via the organic (SEO) channel and we targeted the national marketing using Paid Ads (PPC).

Challenges like this are where our goal of maximising returns on our clients’ budgets and resources really shines as we begin to drive traffic and increase brand awareness.

THE PLAN

After putting together a content plan to target the local markets we set up a Google Ads campaign to run parallel to ensure the reach of the brand went far enough to generate a substantial amount of traffic and leads.

We took the best-performing headlines and descriptions from the testing we have carried out with the standard paid search campaigns and combined these within our organic content plan to ensure all pages will convert to their best ability.

THE RESULTS

As expected, the Google Ads campaigns had a substantial impact on lead generation, generating 80% of the total leads for paid search activity whilst the locally targeted organic campaign made up for the remaining leads.

The campaigns generated high-quality leads in line with the business goals as well as an increase in brand awareness across the UK market which is represented in the graph below that shows how the clicks and impressions increased across the organic campaign.

In total RK Electrical & Mechanical made a 25.2x return from the total investments across the paid and organic campaigns.
